okay, not that personal. some people have asked what my 'favorite' kind of music is. at first it's hard to answer 'cause it really just depends on my mood.
but, if we're getting to the nitty gritty, i want to share with you guys some of my for real always and forever ever favorite. and by saying favorite i don't mean omgeee off the charts!!! i mean like, the type of music i've put on repeat on the ipizzle for the last... 15 years? give or take.
the whole situation is comical, really. since dying my hair brown, people ask what ethnicity i am {i love this question btw} but i'm swedish peeps! a little danish, too. i got no flavor in my roots but i for sure do
in my soul...
hahaha so deep right now. but let me explain...
wanna know the first cd i ever got?
my main man,
John Legend.
when i was in 5th grade. i remember holding it in my hands like it was God's gift to me. i would steal the siblings walkman and hide under my bed as i listened to John Legend, Anthony Hamilton, Jurassic 5, Biggie Smalls and Brian Mcknight every night before i went to sleep. i would listen for hours while i looked up their lyrics on the cd case {remember when some cd covers had the folded out posters with lyrics?!} and tried to memorize every word. i would even cry to it! haha little nugget me under the bed crying to 'one last cry'... oh my.
so since elementary school i kinda got an acquired taste for r&b music
it's been my fav. since i first discovered tunes and still is to this day.
like straight up, who is this white girl right now?
haha we don't even know...
just curious
what were some of your guys first cd's?

I love #s 3 & 6 already, will have to listen to the rest! My first cd was a mix that I picked and my dad put them all on a cd. Had selections from backstreet boys, Britney Spears, Aqua, spice girls and etc.. Good memories!!
